Cleaner wins case against Barclays Bank

A former cleaner has a victory in her claim against the financial giant Barclays Bank, and she got a big hefty compensation which amounted to around 7000.      When she made her claim, it was for the unlawful and sensative subject of discrimination, as Barclays Bank had not accepted and refused to offer her insurance benefits just because she only had a part time job.

The cleaner, who is known as Sylvia Hayes, was awarded £7240 in a settlement which was made outside of the courts, which had the full backing of the Equal Opportunities Commission.

In my opinion this is one of those stupid court cases which seems to slip through the laws.
